Broadcasting achievements on employee volunteering

As we have always said in the GoodBiz Network, let’s not by shy, we should show off the good that we do because besides of being strategic it is contagious. That is why I liked this piece of news that our friends at Pro Bono Australia posted on their website about the National Australia Bank’s volunteer initiative.

As part of the National Volunteering Week celebrations, NAB’s Head of Community Engagement Rebecca Kotow, took the opportunity to broadcasts that they have delivered one million volunteer hours over 17 years since they starting their employee volunteering program.

Some of the activities they do are planting trees, serving meals, manning op shops and nursing sick animals, providing human resources, marketing, accounting and business expertise.

In this piece of news, you will also get to know their partnership with our peers at Volunteer Tasmania, whose CEO Adrienne Picone, shares some hints on how to engage our employees.

You may find this contagious. To read the whole article click on the source link below.
