COMMS Plan workshops for NFP, NGO and Charity

This one-day highly interactive communication planning and change workshop provides skills for anyone responsible for change, communication and engagement in organisations.

Given your involvement in helping develop the sector, I thought this first workshop may be relevant to some of your contacts – if so, please feel free to share the description below.

The Shorter COMMS Plan is a simple, five-step planning process that can create better outcomes and greater impact from all kinds of communication activity. I created it after years of experience as a communication advisor, hearing the most popular question: ‘what’s the best communication planning template?’ It’s such a popular question that my wikihow post on it has received over 420,000 views.

Here’s a secret. There is no ideal template – every organisation wants to see information in a different way. BUT there is an ideal process. So the shorter COMMS Plan was created. The method is free for anyone to use.

In the Shorter COMMS Plan workshops, we walk through each of the five stages, using additional tools, examples and practical exercises based on real-world situations where communication has made a difference. When you participate, you learn to ask better questions to get get better outcomes – regardless of the format.

Find out more and book for the upcoming June 22 Workshop here. There is a 60 second video to explain the key idea that you can view here.

Charities and organisations with DGR status are entitled to a discounted rate for the program – simply select DGR- Yes when booking. I also offer a special discount for friends of Meaning Business. A limited number of non-DGR organisations can book at the same price as charity by simply using the promo code ‘MBPartner’ when booking. There are only 5 places available at this rate, and it will be popular.
